John Hurst is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in technical support and systems management. Currently serving as an IT Support Specialist at Westside Family Healthcare since January 2021, John previously held various roles including Systems Analyst and Systems Administrator at the University of Richmond from February 2006 to January 2021. In addition to these positions, John worked briefly as a Migration Specialist at Coram CVS/specialty infusion services in late 2019, where responsibilities included migrating devices to Windows 10 and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense procedures. With extensive earlier experience as an IT Manager at Alcoa, Inc., Reynolds Packaging Group, and Reynolds Metals Company spanning from 1995 to 2005, as well as roles at American Tobacco Company and World Access, John has a solid foundation in IT management and systems programming. John Hurst holds a degree from Old Dominion University, earned between 1978 and 1983.
