Ahmed Arous

Ahmed Arous has an extensive work history in software engineering and web development. Ahmed started their career in 2008 as a Web Developer at Open Vision and later worked at Novactive as a Web Developer and then as a Web Development Team Leader. During their time at Novactive, they led a team working on important projects and gained experience in leading and managing teams.

Ahmed then moved on to work as a Senior PHP Developer at Ligadigital, where they developed new modules for existing E-Commerce projects. Ahmed also worked at PHOENIX MEDIA GmbH as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on various E-Commerce projects and developed Magento extensions.

Most recently, they worked at Westwing as an Engineering Manager/Tech Lead, leading a team responsible for maintaining and developing features for the Outbound area of the Warehouse Management System. Ahmed also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Westwing, where they worked on different projects, including backend systems and supply chain management systems.

Throughout their career, Ahmed has demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and experience in working with various teams and projects.

Ahmed Arous pursued their education in the field of computer software engineering. From 2005 to 2008, they attended INSAT, where they obtained a DUT (HND) in Computer Software Technology/Technician. Subsequently, they enrolled at Esprit from 2009 to 2013, where they completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Software Engineering, with a focus on the final year of study.

In addition to their formal education, Ahmed Arous received a certification in eZ Publish Developer Basics 4.4 from eZ System in December 2010.
