Tara Borysiak

Tara Borysiak is the current Regional Leasing Director at Westwood Financial. Tara has over 20 years of experience in the retail industry, with a focus on leasing and property management. Tara began their career as a Leasing Representative at North American Properties in 1996. In 2000, they transitioned to Simon Property Group / The Mills Corporation as a Senior Leasing Executive, where they managed in-line leasing for over 1M sf of retail space. In 2007, Tara left Simon Property Group / The Mills Corporation to join Westplan Investors as their Senior Leasing Representative. In this role, they directed the in- house leasing for the company's retail portfolio of over 500,000 sf of grocery and shadow anchored strip centers and urban properties. In 2014, Tara began performing third party leasing through Wheeler Brand Management Company during the disposition of Westplan's retail portfolio. Tara continued in this role until 2015, when they were promoted to Regional Leasing Director at Westwood Financial. In their current role, Tara is responsible for all aspects of leasing for the company's portfolio of properties in the western United States.

Tara Borysiak has a B.A. in English Language and Literature, General from Georgia State University. Tara also attended Western Illinois University.
