Brian Tripp

Brian Tripp is an accomplished broadcaster with extensive experience in play-by-play commentary and sports reporting. Currently serving as the Penn State Men's Ice Hockey Play-By-Play Broadcaster for Playfly Sports since December 2010, Tripp also contributes as a sideline reporter for Penn State football broadcasts. In addition, Tripp has been a national radio play-by-play announcer for Westwood One since April 2018, covering the NCAA Men’s Hockey Championships. Furthermore, Tripp has a long-standing role as a reporter for the Big Ten Network since April 2014. Prior experience includes broadcasting high school football for SportsFever Television Network and serving as a feature content specialist at Penn State University. Tripp's diverse background encompasses various announcements and productions across multiple platforms, demonstrating a strong commitment to sports media and broadcasting. Tripp holds a BA in Broadcast Journalism and Kinesiology from Penn State University.
