Allison Nahr has a diverse work experience across various industries. Allison started their career as a Hostess and Server at Perkins & Marie Callendars, Inc. in 1993 and worked there until 1994. Allison then joined US Airways as a Flight Attendant from 1996 to 1999, where they provided excellent customer service and also served as a lead flight attendant and purser within their crew assignments.
After their time at US Airways, Allison worked as the Director of Youth Ministry Intern at Faith United Methodist Church from 1999 to 2001. Allison then moved to Lewinsville Presbyterian Church, where they served as the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries from 2001 to 2007. Allison continued their career in religious organizations as the Director of Christian Formation at Plymouth Presbyterian Church from 2009 to 2013, where they were responsible for coordinating various ministries and leading worship.
In 2013, Allison joined Lindt & Sprungli as an R.S.V.P. Chocolate Advisor for a brief period of two months. Allison then transitioned to Advent Lutheran Church, where they worked as an Admin Assistant and Communications Coordinator from 2013 to 2020. Their responsibilities included hospitality, communications, website management, and serving as a liaison between church members and staff. Allison also played a key role in organizing churchwide fundraisers.
From 2020 to 2023, Allison worked at Maple Grove Tire & Service as a Sales and Service Writer. In this role, they utilized their field expertise to meet customers' needs by providing appropriate service and repairs. Allison excelled in customer service and administrative tasks, managing the customer management system database and service schedule.
Currently, Allison is an Assistant Project Manager at Westwood Professional Services, starting in 2023.
Allison Nahr has a diverse education history. Allison began their postgraduate studies in 1992 at the University of Minnesota, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in German Linguistics. After completing their undergraduate studies in 1996, Allison Nahr continued their education at Luther Seminary from 1999 to 2001. During this time, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Youth and Family Ministry. More recently, in 2020, Allison Nahr enrolled in Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Project Management. Their studies at this institution lasted until 2022.
