David Bade P.E., LEED AP has a diverse work experience in the field of land development consulting, civil engineering, and project management. David has held various leadership positions in different companies and has extensive experience in the commercial sector.

From 2019 to present, David served as the Commercial Market Leader in Minneapolis for Westwood Professional Services, where they were responsible for the day-to-day operations of the commercial group. David handled industrial, retail, office, and vertical housing projects, and took charge of strategic and business planning, financial performance, acquisitions, marketing, mentoring, business development, and overall operations for the market.

From 2015 to 2019, David was the Director of Operations - Commercial Market at Westwood Professional Services. During their tenure, they focused on ensuring the company's success by overcoming different challenges and inspiring innovation in every project.

Before joining Westwood, David worked as a Senior Project Manager at Westwood Professional Services from 2013 to 2014, where they handled various projects related to land development consulting.

Prior to that, David served as the Director of Land Development Services at RLK Incorporated from 2011 to 2013. In this role, they directed all land development staff, including engineers, landscape architects, CAD technicians, and consultants, for civil engineering and development projects. David ensured timely delivery of projects within the allocated budget, which included industrial warehouses, urban residential/office/mixed-use projects, public and private road projects, environmental impact assessments, and retail redevelopments.

From 2004 to 2010, David worked for Duke Realty Corporation as a Real Estate Development Manager. During this time, they managed multiple projects and coordinated with survey, civil engineering, geotechnical, and environmental consultants from design to construction and closeout phases. David also reviewed and summarized governing agency requirements to determine project feasibility.

From 1999 to 2004, David served as a Civil Engineer/Project Manager at SUPERVALU. In this role, they managed the construction of new grocery stores, distribution centers, and retail outlets across the nation. David designed concept site plans that served as the basis for the full site and building design.

David has also held positions at URS Corporation (BRW) as a Civil Engineer in 1998 and at The Benham Companies as a Civil Engineer from 1997 to 1998. These roles involved working on civil projects and design and construction plan preparation for clients such as 3M.

David began their career at the City of West St Paul in 1995 as a Civil Engineer II. David worked on State Aid Street Reconstruction Projects, where they were responsible for the design and plan preparation of city street plans, cost estimating, and feasibility studies for future projects.

David also obtained a second Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution. In addition to their academic credentials, they have acquired the following certifications: Dale Carnegie Course - Effective Communications and Human Relations from Dale Carnegie Training, LEED Accredited Professional from the United States Green Building Council, and Professional Engineer from the State of Minnesota and NCEES (National).
