Cara Nastali

Cara Nastali has diverse work experience, starting as a Student Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Engineering Professional Development from May 2018 to December 2020. Following that, they worked as a Civil Engineering Intern at Westwood Professional Services from May 2020 to August 2020. Cara then gained further experience as a Project Engineering Co-Op at J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. from January 2019 to August 2019. Currently, Cara is employed at Westwood Professional Services as a Site Design Staff Engineer since January 2021. Cara was recently promoted to the role of Site Design Project Engineer in March 2023. In their current position, Cara is responsible for performing civil engineering design for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects, utilizing software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Global Mapper, and Microsoft Excel. Their tasks include completing site layouts, grading, top of pile plans, erosion control design, and road design.

Cara Nastali holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, which was obtained from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This education was pursued between the years 2016 and 2020.
