Christopher Y.

Christopher Y. has a diverse work experience in the field of civil engineering. Christopher started their career as a Research Assistant at the Minnesota Traffic Observatory in August 2012, where they extracted data from video files and collaborated with peers for data analysis in engineering reports. In June 2014, they joined VAA, LLC as a Civil Engineer and was responsible for performing hydrologic analysis, designing site drainage plans and storm sewer systems, and developing Stormwater Pollution Prevention plans. After working for VAA, LLC for over a year, Christopher joined Rehder & Associates in March 2016 as a Civil Engineer. Christopher worked there until September 2017, gaining experience in civil engineering projects. Currently, Christopher Y. is employed as a Graduate Civil Engineer at Westwood Professional Services since September 2017.

Christopher Y. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota from 2010 to 2014. During the same period, they also pursued a Minor in Management at the University of Minnesota. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained their EIT (Engineer in Training) certification from NCEES in October 2014. Furthermore, they acquired the OSHA 10-Hour certification from OSHA in May 2015. Most recently, in December 2020, Christopher Y. obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from NCEES.
