Katelyn Seppanen, EIT, CFM has work experience in various roles and organizations. Starting in 2018, they worked as a Visitor Services Associate at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for three months. In 2019, Katelyn joined Michigan Technological University and held three different roles: Student Grader and Editor from September 2019 to July 2020, Research Assistant from February to October 2019, and Summer Youth Program Instructor from June to August 2019. In 2020, they became a Civil Engineer at the City of Green Bay, where they worked until January 2022. Currently, Katelyn is a Water Resources Graduate Engineer at Westwood Professional Services, starting from January 2022.

Katelyn Seppanen, EIT, CFM received their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, with a focus on Water Resources Engineering, from Michigan Technological University in 2020. Prior to that, they attended Northern Michigan University from 2016 to 2017, where they pursued Environmental Science but did not complete a degree. Additionally, in March 2020, they obtained their Engineer In Training certification from NCEES.
