Zac Womeldorf has a diverse work experience. Zac started their career as a GIS Intern at the City of Eagan, Minnesota in 2014, where they assisted in utilities department field data collection and updated geodatabases. In 2014, they also began working as a Digital Mapping Technician at MTZ | Martinez Geospatial, Inc., where they digitally compiled planimetric and topographic features and provided QA/QC on LiDAR Point Cloud information. Zac later became the Marketing and Business Development Manager at the same company, working collaboratively with clients to transform their needs into goals. In 2019, Zac joined Westwood Professional Services as a Graduate Civil Engineer, assisting project managers in drafting and designing utility-scale wind and solar projects. Zac then worked as a Site Design Project Engineer, responsible for facility planning, grading, and erosion control plans. Currently, they hold the role of Site Design Lead Engineer at Westwood Professional Services.
Zac Womeldorf attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire from 2009 to 2014 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Geography. Zac later pursued their education at the University of North Dakota from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering.
