Andres Florez has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Andres currently holds the position of VP of Finance at Westwood Shipping Lines, where they are responsible for developing the financial well-being of the organization and establishing finance operational strategies. Prior to that, they worked at McLane Company, Inc. as the Director of Strategic Planning & Analysis, providing economic analyses and studies on matters of financial impact to the company. Andres also supported the implementation of the Oracle Financial Suite. Before that, they worked at Iron Mountain, first as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they provided financial modeling and investment analysis for real estate assets, and then as a Business Analyst, where they built supporting business processes and supervised a team with territory billing and analysis responsibilities. Andres also held the role of Billing Supervisor, where they optimized revenue recognition processes and supervised the billing department.

Andres Florez completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Industrial Engineering at Universidad de Los Andes from 1995 to 1999. Andres then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance at Florida Atlantic University, graduating in 2005. Finally, they obtained a Master of Finance degree from Harvard University, where they studied from 2010 to 2013.
