Tamir Halaban

Tamir Halaban leads the Westwood & Wilshire R&D Leadership Practice, specializing in high level roles spanning Research & Discovery, Preclinical Sciences, Translational Medicine, Early & Late Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Safety & PV plus other functional areas. He has personally led C-suite searches including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Scientific Officer placements. Having started his career working on retained search for Amgen, Eli Lilly and others way back in 2001, Tamir deeply values all the relationships with industry leaders cultivated over the decades. Today, Tamir is the proud father of a son who made the high school basketball team despite the unfavorable family genes for that sport and of a daughter who is a prolific auteur of comedic animated shorts. Tamir graduated from Yale University with a degree in Philosophy.
