Ingrid Bauer

Ingrid Bauer is a highly experienced Principal Engineer at Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. (WSSI) since October 2019, previously serving as a Senior Associate Engineer. Prior to WSSI, Ingrid worked as a Water Resources Engineer at Straughan Environmental, Inc., focusing on stream and wetland restoration, shoreline protection, stormwater management, and erosion control. Ingrid's career includes a tenure as a Civil Engineer with the US Army Corps of Engineers, where participation in the Leadership Development Program occurred, alongside presentations at notable conferences. Earlier roles included a Civil Engineering Co-Op at Ulliman Schutte Construction, gaining hands-on experience in cost analysis and construction quality assurance, along with experience as a Camp Counselor with the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio. Academic achievements include a Graduate Certificate in Coastal Engineering from Old Dominion University, a Master's in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton.
