Lucy Lai

Lucy Lai has a strong background in finance and strategic planning. From 2019 to the present, they served as the Chief Financial Officer of Wetzel's Pretzels, where they were responsible for financial strategy and controls. Prior to that, they worked at DineEquity, Inc. for 8 years as Vice President of Finance, overseeing budgeting, sales performance analysis, and investor relations. From 2006 to 2011, Lucy was the Director of FP&A at j2Global, Inc., streamlining budgeting processes and developing performance monitoring dashboards. Before that, they worked at Warner Home Video for 8 years as the Executive Director of Financial Planning, responsible for budgeting and forecasting for the studio's domestic operations. Lucy's earlier career includes roles as a Senior Financial Analyst at Monrovia Nursery Company and ADP, LLC, and as a Financial Analyst at Russell Miller Incorporated.

Lucy Lai completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry from The University of British Columbia, from the years 1983 to 1988. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Finance, General, from 1988 to 1990.
