Michiel Stavast

Michiel Stavast has a diverse work experience in the travel and entertainment industry. Michiel is currently a Founding Member of the Tourpreneur Travel Community since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Multi-day Tours at WeVenture, where they contributed to the development of city-based and multi-day tours across the United States.

From 2019 to 2019, Stavast served as the General Manager of Los Angeles Urban Adventures at Urban Adventures. Before that, they worked as a Group Leader and Product Developer at AmeriCan Adventures from 2014 to 2019. Michiel was responsible for managing and developing products for this travel company.

Stavast also has entrepreneurial experience as the owner of toursupport.info from 2011 to 2017. Furthermore, they worked as the Managing Director of Poppodium De Kade, a regional center for pop music, from 2007 to 2012. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of the theater's operations and managed a team of employees and volunteers.

Prior to this, Stavast ran their own management and bookings agency, StavasT Productions, from 1999 to 2011. Michiel booked and managed various music venues and theaters, including handling the band Luie Hond's performances at major festivals in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Finally, from 2002 to 2007, Stavast served as the Promoter and General Manager of Poppodium Iduna, where they were responsible for the theater's financial, program, and catering matters. Throughout their career, Stavast has demonstrated strong leadership, management, and entrepreneurial skills in the travel and entertainment industry.

Michiel Stavast earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication from NHL Hogeschool, where they attended from 1995 to 2000. In addition, they obtained certifications in Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid from SOLO in March 2017 and in becoming a Certified Personal Trainer from the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness) in October 2017. Michiel also holds certifications in Boxing Yoga Coach from BoxingYogaTM and First Aid & CPR from the Red Cross, although the specific dates for these certifications are unknown.
