David Jenkins

David Jenkins has a diverse work history in the field of privacy and data protection. David is currently the Global Head of Privacy at WEX since May 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Carlsberg Group, including Head of Data Protection (interim), Senior Data Protection Manager, and Contracted Privacy Lawyer, from August 2021 to April 2022, March 2020 to July 2021, and June 2017 to February 2020, respectively. Before Carlsberg Group, they worked as a Privacy Consultant at Dr. David Jenkins, Legal Consultant from July 2016 to February 2020. David also has an academic background, having served as a Tenured Associate Professor of Law at the University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Law from November 2010 to August 2016, and as an Assistant Professor of Law from November 2008 to October 2010.

David Jenkins holds a Doctor of Civil Law (DCL) degree from McGill University - Faculty of Law, a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from McGill University - Faculty of Law, a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law, a Master of Arts (MA) degree in History and Political Science from Marshall University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and German language from Miami University.
