Derek Curtis has a strong background in technology and management, with extensive experience in leading and implementing digital transformation projects. As the AVP, Technology Capability Officer, they were accountable for client acquisition and sales technology platforms, including Salesforce, and oversaw the enterprise Salesforce deployment. Derek also served as the Director of Business Technology Solutions at Unum, where they implemented cloud-based technology and led the transition from an outdated legacy platform to a more comprehensive and agile platform.
Additionally, Derek served as the Director of Project Portfolio Management at Unum, where they fostered strong business partner relationships and managed the process for reviewing and analyzing business cases for active and proposed projects. Derek also developed executive-level views of the project portfolio to support senior management's investment decisions.
Derek Curtis attended the University of New Hampshire from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a B.A. degree in Communication and Media Studies.
