Ron Wexler

In 2014, Dr. Wexler set out to find a more affordable solution to poor window performance at the energy efficiency level. He founded WexEnergy and WexEnergy Innovations LLC to contain his inventions. WindowSkin®, the easy window upgrade, and WindoWare, the easy and accurate window measuring tool.

Prior to WexEnergy, Dr. Wexler worked at Eastman Kodak for over 20 years as a research scientist in the R&D Labs developing technologies incorporated into commercialized products. While at Kodak, Ron was an inventor on 23 U.S. patents, with a dozen inventions incorporated into commercialized products with over $2 Billion in sales. At Kodak, Ron led the development of patent portfolios for project teams leading to approximately 200 issued patents. He joined Kodak’s Legal Department in 2006 where he worked on patent portfolio valuation for the team responsible for negotiating licensing deals and mergers and acquisitions.

Ron received his S.B. in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
