Joe Elenbaas, Ph.D., currently serves as a Paraprofessional Educator at Wexford-Missaukee Intermediate School District since March 2023. Previously, Joe held positions as a Mental Health Clinician at Change Point Integrated Health Care from February 2020 to May 2023 and as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Apache Behavioral Health Services from May 2019 to February 2020, contributing to the Life is Precious, Suicide Prevention team. Joe also has academic experience as an Adjunct Professor in the Literature/Communications Department at West Shore Community College from January 2015 to February 2020 and served as an ordained minister for 26 years at four churches within the United Methodist Church. Joe's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Mythology, Religion, Ritual, and Jungian Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, a Doctor of Ministry in Applied Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor's degree in History and Theology from Southeastern University.
