Alicia Robbins has a diverse work experience in the forest products industry and academia. Alicia started their career as a Social Science Analyst at the US Forest Service in 2010. Alicia then joined the University of Washington in 2008 as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for International Trade in Forest Products. After completing their master's degree, they continued their academic journey and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Washington from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, Alicia transitioned to the private sector and joined Weyerhaeuser as a Resource Economist. Alicia was promoted to Manager, Timberlands Strategic Planning in 2017 and later became the Director of Timberlands Strategic Planning from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Alicia holds the position of Vice President, Portfolio Analytics & Business Development at Weyerhaeuser since January 2021.
Alicia Robbins has a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies from Columbia University. Alicia also holds a Master of Arts degree in International/Global Studies and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Forest Economics, both from the University of Washington.
