Chad Leatherwood

Chad Leatherwood is a seasoned sustainability professional currently serving as the Senior Sustainability Transformation Manager at Weyerhaeuser since June 2019, where responsibilities include providing strategic guidance on sustainability innovations in wood procurement, by-product management, and energy use. Previous roles include Environmental Manager for Raw Materials and Residuals at Weyerhaeuser, Project Manager in Sustainability at Evergreen Packaging, and Project Manager at SCS Engineers. Chad's career began as a Senior Engineer at ERG and includes experience as an Air Compliance Coordinator at Blue Ridge Paper Products. Chad earned a Master's degree from the Institute of Paper Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
