Michael Swanson

Michael Swanson, CPA, has extensive experience in IT audit and risk management, currently serving as Senior Manager of IT Audit at Weyerhaeuser since May 2019, where previously held positions include Manager, IT Audit, IT Supervising Senior Auditor, and IT Senior Auditor. Prior to Weyerhaeuser, Michael worked at EY from August 2016 to April 2019 as a Technology Risk Senior and Risk Advisory Staff. Michael's earlier experience includes a Corporate Tax Internship at Liberty Mutual Insurance in early 2015 and an internship at Trans-Western Marketing in mid-2014. Michael earned a B.A. in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Information Systems from the UW Foster School of Business, graduating in 2016.
