Amanda McKechan (Dorey) is an experienced legal professional with a background in family law and education. Currently serving as a Lecturer in Law at Weymouth College since August 2021, Amanda has previously worked as a Children's Safeguarding Solicitor for Hampshire County Council from February 2012 to January 2018, and as a Family Solicitor specializing in Childcare Law at CGM Solicitors from October 2010 to January 2012. Amanda's legal career began as a Trainee Solicitor and Solicitor at Merrils Ede Solicitors, focusing on various areas including family law and civil litigation. Amanda started in the legal field as a Paralegal at Morgans Solicitors.
