Martin Oliver's work experience includes various roles in the education sector. Martin began their career as a Lecturer in Sport at Weymouth College in 2008 and held this position until 2013. Martin then transitioned to the role of Sector Area Manager in Sport and Public Services at the same institution, where they remained until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, Martin served as a Sector Area Manager in Sport, Public Services, Travel & Tourism, and Care Studies. Martin then became the Head of School for the Sport, Public Services, Travel & Tourism division until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as the Head of School for the Sport & Public Services department and Acting Head of the Media and ICT department. More recently, Martin has held the position of Head of the School of Sport, Public Services, Media, and IT at Weymouth College since 2018. Martin Oliver attended Thomas Hardye from 1992 to 1997, where they studied Physical Education. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of Chichester from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sport and Coaching Science. Later, in 2004 to 2005, Martin studied at the University of Exeter and earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching.
