Eddie Francis

President & CEO at WFCU Credit Union

Eddie Francis has had a diverse and successful career. Eddie began by starting their own business, owning and operating the Royal Pita Baking Company from 1997 to 2001. Eddie then entered public service, serving as the Mayor of Windsor for 11 years from 2003 to 2014. During their time as Mayor, they introduced numerous initiatives to strengthen the city and its services. In 2014, Eddie joined WFCU Credit Union as the Executive Vice President, Operations and Member Experience. Eddie quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the President in 2016. During their time at WFCU, they implemented a five-year strategic plan and spearheaded various advancements, including the launch of a virtual branch and the expansion of the credit union's services. Eddie continues to serve as the President and CEO of WFCU Credit Union.

Eddie Francis pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry from Western University. Eddie attended this institution from 1993 to 1997. Following this, from 1999 to 2002, they enrolled at the University of Windsor and obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, specializing in Law.
