Jeena Hara

Jeena Hara has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles.

Their most recent position was as an Accounting Assistant at WFCU Credit Union, where they provided support to the Accounting department with financial statement preparation, accounts payables, fixed assets, and reporting processes. Jeena also managed accounts payables, cash disbursements, and vendor payments, set up new vendors, and assisted with bank reconciliations and financial analysis. Jeena also helped other departments with accounting-related queries.

Prior to that, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at PROSTAFF Employment Solutions for a brief period. Jeena also had experience at St. Clair College, where they served as an Accounting Clerk/Support Staff in the Financial Department and later as Support Staff for the IT Help Desk. In these roles, they provided assistance and support for various queries, issues, and technical problems related to computer systems and software.

Jeena also worked as an HR Assistant (Temporary/Contract) at the Greater Essex County District School Board. Jeena provided administrative support in various areas of Human Resources, including WSIB claims, disability management, return-to-work programs, and leave of absence programs.

Additionally, they had experience as a School Parent Council Member and Volunteer at Holy Cross Elementary Schools, a Sales Representative at Gap Inc., and an Internship/Project Lead at Thapar University. Jeena also served as a Class Representative at Lovely Professional University and underwent training at Punjab Agricultural University.

Their earliest known work experience was as an Assistant at the Local Government Council of Rural Community. In this role, they assisted the Chairperson of the School Board, President, and Council of the Village in community-related matters, including education, infrastructure improvement, domestic violence issues, and the selection process of domestic students interested in studying overseas.

Jeena Hara's education history begins with their bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, which they completed between 2005 and 2009. Jeena then pursued a post-graduate degree in Computer Application from Guru Nanak Dev University in 2008 and 2009. Moving forward, Jeena obtained a master's degree in Biotechnology from Lovely Professional University from 2009 to 2011. Lastly, in 2018 and 2019, they attended St. Clair College to complete a post-graduate degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration.
