Renée Paradis is a senior elections and civil rights lawyer with extensive experience in various advocacy areas, including voter protection and civil rights litigation. They served as a clerk for Judge Karen Nelson Moore at the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and held counsel positions at the Brennan Center for Justice and the ACLU. Paradis has also directed nationwide voter protection programs for presidential campaigns and worked as Associate Chief Counsel for the California Civil Rights Department. Currently, they serve as Associate General Counsel for the Working Families Party while continuing to engage in impactful legal work. Renée holds a JD from Columbia University School of Law and a BA in English from Columbia University.
