Derek Rosenberg

Derek Rosenberg is a skilled technician with extensive experience in the media and entertainment fields. Currently serving as a Studio Technician at WFTS-TV since February 2019, Derek previously held positions including Video Lab Technician at the Zimmerman School of Advertising and Mass Communications at the University of South Florida, where responsibilities included equipment management and student assistance in video projects. An earlier role as Lighting/Audio Technician for A Premier Entertainment involved leading light shows and installing audio-visual equipment for live events. Additional experience includes work as an Entertainment Technician for events at Busch Gardens and as an Assistant Store Manager at Simply Mac, where customer relations and technical support were key responsibilities. Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of South Florida and an Associate of Arts from South Florida Community College.
