Heather Leigh

Heather Leigh is a dedicated news reporter and anchor at WFTS-TV, where Heather has worked since 2017 after returning to Tampa. Previously, Heather served as a multimedia journalist at WJXT from February 2014 to February 2017 and held similar roles at KMEG 14 Siouxland News and KMEG-TV between 2012 and 2014. Heather’s early career included a brief stint at WJXT Channel 4 and an experience as a barista at Starbucks Coffee Company from 2004 to 2011. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of South Florida, earned between 2009 and 2011.
