Daralene Jones

Daralene Jones is an experienced news anchor and investigative reporter, currently working at WFTV since May 2014, and previously served as a lead reporter at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from January 2013 to May 2014, covering major stories in a top 5 media market. With a solid background as an enterprise reporter for WFTV from 2007 to 2013, Daralene focused on government and education issues, and prior to that, reported on education and government affairs at WREG-TV from 2005 to 2007. Early career roles include Bureau Chief at WCIA, managing the Decatur news bureau, and a Statehouse Reporter at WICS-TV, where coverage included the Illinois Legislature. Daralene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Illinois State University and a Master of Arts in Public Affairs from the University of Illinois Springfield.
