Erin Earnest

Erin Earnest has a diverse work experience in various media and video production roles. Erin currently holds the position of Chief Content Officer at WFYI Public Media starting from January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director and Video & Multimedia Manager at Butler University from July 2017 to January 2023. Erin also gained experience as a Video Manager at Live Nation from January 2015 to June 2017.

Before their time at Live Nation, Erin served as a Video Producer & Editor at WFYI from July 2013 to December 2014. Erin began their career at Carmel Clay Schools where they worked in multiple roles including CHTV Station Manager & Television Broadcasting Instructor from July 2011 to July 2013, and Media Technology Manager from August 2009 to July 2011.

Additionally, they interned as a Video Editing Intern at Purdue University from January 2009 to May 2009, where they mastered, edited, and organized programs for mass distribution and designed packaging for DVDs. Erin also gained early experience in the industry as a Production Intern at WFYI from 2007 to 2009.

Erin Earnest completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production, as well as Creative Writing, at Purdue University from 2005 to 2009. Erin then pursued a Master of Science degree in Strategic Communication, specializing in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication, at Butler University from 2020 to 2022.
