Lauren Makin has a diverse work experience. Lauren started their career as an intern at the 500 Festival, where they gained hands-on experience in events and programs coordination. Lauren showed responsibility and attention to detail, which allowed their to take on significant tasks. Later, Lauren became an Executive Assistant at United Way of Perry County, where they provided support for various tasks and ensured quality customer service. Lauren then joined the 500 Festival again as a Senior Program and Event Manager, overseeing educational programs for thousands of students across Indiana. Their responsibilities included managing in-class curricula, study trips, and coordinating the KidsFit program. Most recently, Lauren has been working at WFYI Public Media as a Staff & Volunteer Engagement Manager. The details of their role are not provided. Before their professional roles, Lauren also worked at Indiana University School of Public Health as a Data Collector, where they conducted surveys and collected significant data for various projects.
