Gabriel Thomas

Gabriel Thomas, M.S., currently serves as a News Reporter and Fill-in Traffic Anchor at WGAL 8 TV since August 2023 and is also an Adjunct Professor at the Community College of Baltimore County since August 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University, where responsibilities involved grading, creating PR modules, and providing feedback. Gabriel's background includes multimedia journalism with WTKR News 3 and WTVR-TV, as well as internships with The E.W. Scripps Company and the Virginia State Capitol as a Legislative Assistant. A founder of The Prom Fairy DMV, Gabriel established mentorship programs for local high schools and initiated media campaigns to enhance brand awareness. Gabriel holds a Master of Science in Mass Communication/Media Studies and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, both from Virginia Commonwealth University.
