James Levy

James Levy has extensive experience in finance, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at GBH since August 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing two service businesses and leading financial operations for national and local programs. Previously, Levy held roles at WGBH as Managing Director and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, and at Boston Globe Media as Vice President Finance. Additional experience includes finance-related positions at Staples, Industrial Economics, and Global Insight, with a focus on economic consulting and financial analysis. Academically, Levy holds an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from Yale School of Management, a Master’s in Industrial Environmental Management from Yale University School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, and a BA in Economics from Bates College.
