Jon Day

Jon Day is an experienced audio engineer currently serving at GBH since April 2022, where responsibilities include sound mixing for The Outpost and engineering stories for The World radio program. Concurrently, Jon teaches undergraduate courses in music supervision, music recording, and music industry at Northeastern University, a position held since January 2018. Prior to this, Jon spent over 14 years with Bose Corporation as a sound and music experience engineer, contributing to audio engineering, sound design, and music production. Additional experience includes roles as a technology manager at Soundtrack Boston, a sound designer at Soup2Nuts Animation Studio, and sales support at Parsons Audio. Jon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance with a focus on Sound Recording Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Professional Certificate in Music Supervision from Berklee College of Music.
