Melissa Carlson

Melissa Carlson is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience at GBH, where roles have included Executive Producer, Senior Digital Producer, Digital Producer, Associate Digital Producer, Production Coordinator, and Production Assistant since February 2009. Prior to GBH, Melissa worked as a Freelance Writer and Researcher for various clients, including Beacon Press and WGBH, from November 2002 to December 2008, focusing on content creation and research for web, documentary film, and print projects. Additionally, Melissa served as a Describer/Writer, crafting narrative scripts for visually impaired audiences. Educational qualifications include a BA in English and Anthropology from Brandeis University and further studies at Emerson College from 2008 to 2010.
