Susan Goldberg

Susan Goldberg currently serves as the President and CEO of GBH, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this role, Susan was the Vice Dean and Professor of Practice at Arizona State University from February 2022 to November 2022. With significant experience in media, Susan acted as the Editorial Director of National Geographic Partners and Editor in Chief of National Geographic from 2014 to February 2022. Earlier positions include Washington Bureau Chief at Bloomberg News (2010-2014) and Editor at The Plain Dealer Publishing Co. (2007-2010). Additional experience encompasses leadership roles at The Mercury News, USA TODAY, the Detroit Free Press, and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, starting a career in journalism after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Michigan State University.
