Michael Godfrey

Michael Godfrey is a highly experienced technology executive with a strong background in engineering and management across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at WGD Consulting Inc. and Synchpath Inc., Michael directs efforts in integrated solutions for Smart Mobility and Smart City infrastructures. Previously, Michael held significant roles such as Principal Engineer at Wayne Godfrey Design Inc., Manager of System Design for Urban Transit and Rail Systems at SNC-Lavalin, and Manager of Communication Engineering at the Toronto Transit Commission. Earlier career accomplishments include serving as CTO at Visual Defence, President at Vialight Canada, and President of Trailwood Homes. Michael has also contributed to the commercialization of medical devices as Chief Engineer at Fraser Sweatman Industries and engineered products at George Kelk Corporation. Michael holds multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics from Queen's University and the University of Waterloo.
