Rajah Maples possesses extensive experience in broadcast journalism and education, currently serving as an Anchor and MMJ at WGEM/Gray Television since June 2023. Previously, Rajah held the role of Anchor, Executive Producer, and MMJ at Sinclair Broadcast Group from April 2005 to July 2022. In academia, Rajah served as an Adjunct Instructor at Culver-Stockton College, teaching media writing and basic speech. Early career positions include Television Anchor and Multi-media Journalist at KMIZ-TV, Marketing Coordinator for the MU Department of Theatre, and Senior Information Specialist at the University of Missouri. Rajah also contributed to public relations at Stephens College and was selected as a Production Assistant for NBC's The Today Show during a prestigious fellowship. Educational qualifications include doctoral studies in Media Effects and a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, alongside Bachelor's degrees in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Stephens College.
