Andre Smith

Andre Smith, PE, is a Structural Engineer at WGI since July 2017, specializing in various aspects of structural engineering. Previously, Andre served as a Project Engineer at Bracken Engineering, focusing on building investigations, condition assessments, and forensic engineering tasks. Prior experiences include a Civil Engineering Intern role at Giatec Scientific Inc., where advanced MATLAB code was developed, and a River Hydraulics Engineering Intern position at the University of Ottawa, involving hydrodynamic model calibration and geotechnical analysis. Andre also has managerial experience from SSAlliance Racing. Currently, Andre is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering at the University of Ottawa, building on a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering obtained in 2015.
