Erik Arendt

Erik Arendt is an experienced news engineer, photojournalist, and editor with a career spanning over a decade in television broadcasting. Currently employed at WGN-TV since December 2014, Erik has honed skills in shooting and editing video packages for various newscasts while collaborating with reporters. Previous roles include news photojournalist and editor positions at WGHP-TV and WFMY News 2, where Erik also conducted interviews independently. Early career experience includes similar roles at KCRG-TV9 and WHOI-TV, alongside a video production internship at University Television. Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology from Western Illinois University.
