Joseph Dix Jr

Joseph Dix Jr is an experienced television director currently serving as the Director for WGN Morning News, a position held since 1996, overseeing two of the six hours of the number one morning newscast. Previously, Joseph coordinated and directed the Thanksgiving Parade broadcast, managed local segments for the Muscular Dystrophy Telethon, and contributed as an assistant director during the launch of WGN Morning News. Additional roles included serving as a floor director for various news programs and working as a production assistant on The Bozo Show. In 2023, Joseph briefly directed Daytime Chicago for Nexstar Media Group, Inc. Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology from Western Illinois University.
