Mitch Legan

Mitch Legan is an experienced news writer currently working at WGN-TV since August 2022. Prior to this role, Mitch served as a multimedia journalist at Indiana Public Media / WTIU / WFIU from August 2019 to August 2022. Mitch began contributing as a reporter for the Oak Park Wednesday Journal and the Riverside-Brookfield Landmark between May 2017 and August 2019. Additionally, Mitch worked as a reporter/producer at KBIA 91.3 FM from January 2018 to May 2019 and was a peer learning assistant at the University of Missouri Residential Life from August 2016 to May 2019. Mitch earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree in Broadcast-Radio Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where studies were completed from 2015 to 2019. Education was initiated at Fenwick High School, which was attended from August 2011 to May 2015.
