Ryan Naughton is a seasoned television producer with extensive experience in news production. Currently serving as Supervising Producer at WGN-TV since June 2023, Ryan previously held the position of Evening News Producer at WTVO-TV/WQRF-TV from October 2020 to June 2023, where responsibilities included writing and editing various news shows. Prior to that role, Ryan worked as a Morning News Producer at WTVO-TV/WQRF-TV, and gained valuable experience as a Political Pitstop Editor/Producer at Northern Television Center. Ryan's early career included internships and positions at Batavia Access Television and Elgin Observer, focusing on content creation, mentoring, and editing. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northern Illinois University and an Associate's degree in Journalism from Elgin Community College.
