Martin Dillon

Martin Dillon has a diverse work experience in the fields of software engineering and hardware qualifications. Martin currently holds the position of Lead Software Engineer at WGS Systems, LLC since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company starting from November 2017. Martin initially joined WGS Systems, LLC as a Software Engineer in May 2015. Before joining WGS Systems, LLC, Martin worked as an Engineer at ComSource from January 2011 to May 2015. Martin'searliest work experience was as an Embedded Controls Intern at Belcan Engineering at Caterpillar from May 2010 to December 2010. At Caterpillar, Martin utilized tools like Matlab, Simulink, and Real-Time Workshop to develop embedded controls software. Additionally, they created Simulink libraries and implemented a streamlined test process for software validation. Martin also had a role as a Hardware Qualifications Co-op at Alcatel-Lucent for a six-month period in 2008. In this role, they tested fiber-optic communications equipment and ensured compliance with performance specifications and quality standards.

Martin Dillon attended North Carolina State University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Additionally, during the same period, Martin also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University. In March 2012, they received an Engineer In Training (FE - EE) certification from the Maryland DLLR - State Board for Professional Engineers. Then, in November 2017, Martin obtained an ASEP certification from INCOSE.
