Nicola Burgess

Nicola Burgess has extensive experience in marketing and tourism management, currently serving as the Manager of Tourism and Events at Whakatāne District Council since March 2013. Prior roles include Events and Tourism Advisor at the same council, Marketing Manager at both Whakatāne District Council & Toi EDA and Farmers Trading Company Ltd, and Account Manager positions at Pilot Direct and Design Haus. Nicola also worked as a Product Manager at TrustPower and a Sales and Marketing Specialist at 3M. Early career highlights include a Sales Representative role at Healtheries NZ. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Management Studies in Marketing from The University of Waikato.
