Following this, they worked as a Physics teacher at Liceo Hermano Miguel de la Salle, teaching high school physics to students aged 13 to 18.

Luis Anibal then returned to Universidad de los Andes and held multiple roles. First, they served as the Physics Learning Center Manager, responsible for selecting and training tutors and coordinating activities to promote comprehensive learning. Luis Anibal later became the Academic and Administrative Coordinator for the Physics department, facilitating academic processes and communication within the department, and serving as an advisor for undergraduate and graduate students. Lastly, they served as the Secretary General of the Faculty of Sciences, where they oversaw administrative and financial matters, while also integrating various areas of the faculty through effective management.

Most recently, Luis Anibal Garcia Lopez co-founded Whale & Jaguar, a company where they currently hold the role of Co-Founder & COO. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring the team's proper growth and consolidation, overseeing recruitment, selection, and hiring efforts.
