Michael Turner

Michael Turner is an experienced economic development professional currently serving as an Economic Development Facilitator at Whangarei District Council since April 2024. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at EMA, including Northland Regional Manager and Growth Advisor from November 2021 to April 2024. Michael's diverse background also includes a decade at Glengarry Wines, where responsibilities ranged from Trade Sales to Retail Store Manager. Educational credentials include a WSET Diploma obtained from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Commercial Law from The University of Auckland.
