Maitri J. is an accomplished student at The Wharton School, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics, with expected graduation in December 2025. Currently serving as a bp Future Talent Scholar at bp since June 2024, Maitri also holds several leadership positions including Vice President of Consulting for the Wharton Undergraduate Energy Group and Wharton Impact Venture Associate (WIVA) focusing on climate-related technologies. Additional experience includes roles as an Investment Analyst in the Consumer & Retail Group at the Wharton Investment and Trading Group and as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at LinkGlobal Capital and Elara Capital. Maitri's educational background includes a High School Diploma from UWC South East Asia.

The Wharton Asia Exchange (WAX) is a professional student-run organization of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. It was founded with the intention of bridging the gap between the University community and the Asian business environment. By providing the requisite resources to increase students' understanding of Asian business, WAX aims to fulfill the aspirations of students interested in making a difference in Asia.
