Rachel Platt

Rachel Platt has over three decades of experience in television broadcasting, currently serving as an anchor at WHAS-TV since July 1989. Initially starting as a weekend co-anchor, Rachel progressed to roles including Good Morning Kentuckiana and now anchors the 4 pm news, demonstrating expertise in writing, editing, and multi-tasking. In addition, Rachel co-hosts the fast-paced magazine-style show Great Day Live alongside Terry Meiners. Previously, Rachel was an anchor and reporter at WOWK-TV from June 1984 to June 1989, beginning as a weekend anchor and advancing to weekday anchor. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio/Television from the University of Central Florida.
